New Online Learning Platform: Journal Quizzes and More

January 30, 2018

Dear SAF members,

The Society of American Foresters continually seeks new opportunities to support you in your continuing education. SAF is thrilled to announce that online access to Journal of Forestry quizzes is now open. Anyone in need of continuing forestry education (CFE) credits can go to www.ForestEd.org, SAF’s new online learning platform, to purchase and complete a quiz with instant results—including a personalized certificate validating successful completion of the quiz.

SAF will track your CFEs earned through ForestEd automatically. CFEs will post to your CFE record within 24 hours. All ForestEd registration records are also retained for auditing purposes.

In addition to quizzes, FREE SAF National Convention content is available for viewing. Even more presentations recorded from SAF National Conventions will be added throughout the year. Keep an eye out for new online courses and other content coming soon.

Anyone can access ForestEd. It’s not just for SAF members. ForestEd is open to all forestry and natural resource professionals to help meet continuing education requirements, or simply for career advancement and professional growth. Exploring ForestEd does not require logging in. However, purchasing a quiz does require you to login with your SAF login credentials. For account questions, go to ForestEd FAQs, call 866-897-8720, or email [email protected]

SAF also invites continuing education partners to expand the reach of their existing or new training and development programs on ForestEd. Contact Naomi Marcus, M.Ed., Professional Development Director, at [email protected] with interest in a partnership, to simply sponsor content, or other general questions about ForestEd and its content.

We are excited that ForestEd is here to help you work towards your professional development goals anywhere, anytime, and on any device. Please share this exciting news with your professional network. And, stay tuned for new learning opportunities on www.ForestEd.org!

Sincerely,

Terry Baker
