Seeking: Mentors for SAF Student Diversity Scholars

We Need Mentors Like You! The 2021 cohort of
SAF Student Diversity Scholars includes 16 outstanding individuals from across the country. To enrich this year's virtual program, SAF is seeking 16 mentors committed to creating a more welcoming, inclusive, and diverse profession. Mentors of all ages and experience levels are welcome to apply.
Commitments (all virtual):

Participate in a 1-hour introductory session for mentors

Participate in a 1.5-hour group meeting for scholars and mentors

Check in with scholar the week of the 2021 SAF National Convention

Meet with scholar to follow up within two weeks after Convention
-
Meet with scholar at least once before the end of the year

Be open, willing, and able to connect scholar to your professional network
