Foresters’ Fund Grant Proposals due February 15

What projects are your SAF local unit working on in 2022? If you’re in need of financial assistance to make your project a reality, submit a Foresters’ Fund proposal. The 2022 proposal cycle begins with a February 15 deadline for regular grants up to $2,000.

The Foresters’ Fund provides grants to SAF local units for projects that promote forestry education and outreach that enhances public understanding of forest management, and opportunities to promote personal and professional development to cultivate future leaders.

For 2022, $55,350 in Foresters’ Fund grants have been approved by the SAF Board of Directors with the funds to support regular and special grants. The 2022 proposal cycle begins with a February 15 deadline for regular grants up to $2,000. Additional regular grant proposals deadlines are June 15 and September 15. Special grants up to $5,000 are accepted one time per year on June 15.
