The Silent Auction is a fun and exciting way to support two great causes and make a difference: the Foresters Fund
and the Kurt Gottschalk Science Fund
. All funds generated from this event will be split evenly between the two funds.
We need your help to make the auction a success by donating unique items. Keep in mind that many of the attendees will be flying in for the convention, so portable items and gift certificates are always welcome.
Who can donate?
State societies, chapters, members, companies, organizations, businesses, and anyone else are encouraged to donate items for this fun and important event.
What to donate?
Examples include (but are not limited to): artwork, clothing, specialty foods, gift baskets, and gift cards - anything that will entice a bid is welcome. Handcrafted items by forestry folks and their family members are especially encouraged. No alcohol please, as it is not allowed at the convention center; food items are acceptable if items are pre-packaged and sealed.
