Introducing #ThankAForester Campaign

March 4, 2025

We are thrilled to launch the #ThankAForester campaign to shine a light on the everyday things you might not realize come from the forest industry or are a result of sustainable forest management. These can be from paper products that you use every day, firewood, furniture as well as hygiene products such as toothpaste. As well as the community, science, and research that go into forestry to ensure the outcome of these products and the success of the Forsters.

This campaign is our way of highlighting and honoring the professionals that help maintain suitable practices to keep forests forests and ensure that forest products and experiences are enjoyed for years to come. As we celebrate our 125th year, we recognize, support and appreciate the work of the forests, foresters, and the products that make our day to day better.

Every day you show us how you are #forestproud and how you make an impact in the forestry industry and the amazing things you do to help impact the environment.

We want you to join us in thanking foresters by learning about the important impact forests play in our lives. And while you’re at it, show us what being #forestproud means to you!

Have a story, imagery or content you want to share to show us how you #ThankAForester? Send it to [email protected] to be included on our website, social media channels and e-newsletters

Be sure to also include us in your social media posts by using the #ThankAForester and tagging us @americanforesters so we can see how you are playing an important role in forestry!

In addition to showing us how you #ThankAForester on social media, collect all the #ThankAForester industry pins and buttons from ShopSAF.  A new theme will be released every month. Collect them all!
