Join Our Board!
We are currently seeking strong and vibrant leaders to join the SAF Board and serve in the roles of SAF vice president and board members for Districts 3, 6, and 9, with service beginning January 1, 2022.
The SAF Board provides leadership and direction to the Society in achieving its mission, with a president, vice president, immediate past president and 11 members (one from each voting district). A vice president is elected annually leading to president and immediate past president. District board members are elected to three-year terms.

• Addressing the challenges and opportunities facing the profession;
• Exchanging ideas and perspectives with other volunteer leaders from around the country; and

Elections take place in October. Newly elected members should plan on attending the SAF Board meeting on December 3-5, 2021, either virtually or in person in Washington, DC for shadowing and orientation.

Election in 2021, starting term in 2022: Districts 3, 6, and 9 -- Nominations due June 1, 2021
Election in 2022, starting term in 2023: Districts 2, 5, 8, and 11
Election in 2023, starting term in 2024: Districts 1, 4, 7, and 10.
Vice President is voted on an annual basis.
