Join The Forestry Source Editorial Board

The Forestry Source is moving to an editorial board format and reader contribution that encompasses the diverse range of forestry professionals across the nation. We are seeking an editor in chief and associate editors to start in spring 2021 and serve three-year terms on an editorial board that spans the array of forestry topics and geographic regions in the US.  

Seeking: Editor in Chief 

The Editor in Chief serves in a highly visible role focused on the editorial and strategic positioning for the Source. The Editor in Chief serves at the pleasure of SAF’s Board of Directors for a contract term of three years. The Editor in Chief works closely with SAF’s publications staff, production and publishing vendors, Associate Editors, and directly with authors to the benefit of the Source and SAF. A 500–750-word outline of your vision for the next three years of The Forestry Source

Seeking: Associate Editors

The Associate Editors serve in a highly visible volunteer role focused on the editorial content of the Source. The Associate Editors volunteer at the pleasure of SAF for a rotating term of three years. The Associate Editors work closely with the Editor in Chief, SAF’s publications staff and directly with authors to the benefit of the Source and SAF.
